TIB improves the bus connection with the Joan March Hospital and adds express services to Palma from Portocolom and Campos. Users of Son Carrió will now have a regular service on all connections to Sant Llorenç.
The TIB bus service changes the timetable of several lines to adjust the service to the mobility needs of residents. This February, the TIB network includes improvements to the bus connection with the Joan March Hospital and adds express services to Palma from Portocolom and Campos, among other measures.
As of 1st February, a reorganisation of the 303 Bunyola - H. Joan March - Palma line will begin with the aim of improving the service at the Joan March Hospital. From Monday to Friday, a return trip will be added at around 7 am. In addition, the service's seating capacity will be increased in the time slots with the greatest commuter demand (arrivals and departures at 8 am and 3 pm), thanks to the replacement of the taxi service between Raixa and the hospital with new routes to the hospital centre for buses on line 205 Bunyola - Palma, which will directly connect Palma with the hospital, thus avoiding the current transfer between the taxi and the services of line 204.
On the other hand, from the 3 February, Portocolom users will have a direct service to Palma early in the morning from Monday to Friday on line 512 Portocolom - Felanitx. Line 501 Manacor - Campos - Palma also includes a new express service to Palma from Campos at 2.25 pm.
In the Llevant area, line 417 Porreres - Manacor - Son Carrió becomes a regular line for all routes passing through Sant Llorenç. This way, users of Son Carrió who until now had to make a telephone request to ask for a stop in Sant Llorenç will no longer have to do so.
